The Consultancy firm – Promote Uganda Limited – is a private company owned by Ugandan professionals. Promote Uganda Limited employs experienced consulting staff and regularly draws on the experience of carefully selected associates, mostly those with specialized experience or technical expertise.  The firm has access to a much larger network of companies, organizations and independent consultants for specific advisory needs in addition to the strong international network of collaborators and associates. This is made possible because of the firm’s earlier working relationships with them and because of adopting a collaborative approach to solving policy problems, working in partnerships, even with client organizations, to improve knowledge and competence in managing development and change. Besides, the firm believes in institutional learning, emphasizes teamwork and shares expertise and knowledge in pursuit of excellence.

Promote Uganda Limited has a unique competence above any other consulting firm because it is manned by economists who fully understand the budget process having worked with the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development for many years.  This is combined with a clear understanding of the concept of evidence based accountability that they use to produce sector based videos and documentaries that are used by Uganda’s embassies  to market the country.  This has been possible due to its ability to combine script with visual illustration through films and documentaries.
